Last weekend I went with my Mom and Sister to their churchs women’s retreat. The theme for the weekend was “A Wise Woman Builds”, taken from Proverbs 14:1 “The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish tears it down with her own hands.” We had a great weekend of discussing ways that a woman can build; through her mentoring, by her character, in her industry. The ladies decided that they wanted to do something as a group to “build”. They chose a woman in their church who is expecting and we “built” a memory quilt for her baby. It was a lot of work, but it was a great project to complete over the weekend.
