This morning I tried to find out how many frequent flier miles I had on US Airways. I called the airline and gave the operator all my information. Not long later she came back and told me that she found my account, but it is in idle mode. She informed me that my account had been inactive for more than 36 months, so my accrued miles had been permanently deleted. The last account activity was in December of 1986. Needless to say, my account needed some updating. As of today, I am out of idle mode and am once again activated.
