One day late, sorry.
Happy Father’s Day to the Dad’s in my life.
My Dad is one of the greats. He is loving, patient (even when his daughter doesn’t understand her math homework), funny, generous, a fantastic grandfather, a supportive husband…the list could go on. I watched my Dad be a servant to my Mother while she was going through chemo. He cooked, cleaned, sat with her, rubbed her feet, helped with every task she needed done, he was protective of her. In those months he was the definition of a servant, the definition of “for better or worse, in sickness and in health.” Thank you for the example that you were and continue to be.
My Father-in-Law is a wonderful man. I have had the pleasure of knowing him for many, many years, something like 20 years. (has it really been that long?! goodness.) He is a man who loves his family, his church family, and his Savior. I see so many of his characteristics in DaddyZabba. Thank you for raising loving, Godly sons.
My dear Husband. He is a terrific dad. I love watching him play with the Zabba’s. He comes up with the most creative games, and he is so patient with them. It is wonderful to see how excited the girls get when he pulls in the driveway at night. They scream “Daddy!” as he walks in the door. They love being Daddy’s helpers…and he lets them! He can always find a job that is just perfect for them. Thank you for loving our girls with all your being.
Happy Father’s Day!
