Motivation

For Christmas I got Ultramarathon Man: Confessions of an All-Night Runner by Dean Karnazes. I loved it. I know I will never be an ultramarathoner, but it was very inspiring to read his story and read about his passion for running and that passion spilled into every other part of his life. Lately I have lacked running motivation. Life gets in the way and before I know it it has been too many days since I have gone running. I become a grumpy person when I don’t run.

Recently I found Hungry Runner Girl. This is a funny woman. She writes about running & food. (lots of other things as well, but these are talked about alot!) I so enjoy reading about her running antics and what crazy food she is eating.

Between these two things I hope to get back the motivation to get out there and enjoy my time outside, letting the miles pass by.

  1. You go girl – run a few extra miles for me. The abundance of toffee and vanilla butter creams has taken its toll.
