Today began the process of making more blankets.  DZ was gracious enough to spend the morning taking our fabric to get cut.  We can do it here, but we are making so many more blankets now that it is too complicated to cut that many here on our small cutting table.

So this morning began with laying out all the fabric in neat layers.

Next the pattern was placed on top of the fabric so they knew exactly what size to cut each piece.

Then the cutting began.

It is like a hot knife slicing through butter. The cuts are so clean.

The finished product looks like a beautiful layer fabric cake.

Now, let the sewing begin.
